Context

Changes in consumer lifestyles have led to a real technological shift in the food industry. Thus, it has been noted among individuals an overall decrease in the time devoted to culinary preparation, leading to an increase in production volume for microwaveable foods. This mode of reheating, although now established, does not at present provide a similar appearance and text effect to foods heated by a grill or oven, thus attracting a great deal of criticism.

About the project

CrispyPack proposes to develop a new type of innovative functionalized packaging to achieve the crispiness effect by microwave cooking, depending on the usage properties expected by consumers:
● Fast cooking between 10 and 15 minutes, for a 500-600g gratin dish;
● Quality of presentation and the nutritional pleasures obtained by other cooking methods;
● To obtain a crispy surface appearance according to the expected dishes.
