What is the nature of your business?
PROCIDYS, of member the AQUIMER Pole, is a food-agriculture research and studies company, specialized in highlighting co-products and refining biotechnological processes. We are a teams of 4 engineers and we develop processes for our clients that enable them to raise value from co-products or biomass such as co-products of fish, algae, greens, insects, as well as the by-products of cereals and fruits. We assist our clients starting with the brainstorming phase, the adjustment of the process in the lab phase, until trials in the pilot phase and industrial implementation of the process, while evaluating the project profitability and the business plan throughout the study.
For whom are your products/services intended?
Out assistance and know-how are intended for industrial companies that generate, within the framework of their business, no-value by-products for which they wish to add value. We help them think over various possible added-value option in the various domains and applications such as human food, health ingredients, cosmetics, animal food, or fertilization.
In what way are innovation and research important for your sector of business?
Innovation and research are at the heart of our business and are very often a common thread in our projects. Our clients often want us to bring them new ideas for developing products with innovating, high-performance processes. By implementing recent, yet well mastered, techniques we allow them to set themselves apart from their competitors and to have competitive production costs, and even patent processes. We are, furthermore, approved by the Crédit Impôt Recherche (research tax credit) and we work jointly with our technical centers and the competitiveness group of Aquimer to develop innovations and new know-hows.
