Development of an intelligent robotic module for gripping and packaging "target weight" fresh fish fillets

Context

The project consists of the carrying out and developing a pre-series machine in industrial environment allowing the automatic packing of trays with fixed weight. The aim is to avoid as much as possible any loss of raw materials and to reduce the drudgery of manual operations consisting in filling fixed weight trays at a sustained and prolonged rate. Moreover, this robotization avoids excessive handling of the raw material, which is very fragile from an aesthetic (fragile texture) and microbiological point of view.

Objectif

Developing an intelligent robotic module for gripping and packaging "target weight" fresh fish fillets.

About the project

The technology used to do this is robotics. This is associated with weight-measuring electronics on board at the end of the robot arm, a gripping tool and a surrounding "transitic" adapted to the products and packaging to be gripped first and then filled correctly.
