Granvilmer is a cooperative of artisanal fishermen whose mission is to add value to the fishing products of its members. The cooperators are at the same time company managers, craftsmen on board their boats and co-owners of Granvilmer: a tool for the transformation and marketing of their products.
With more than 30 years of experience, 24 employees and 221 member boats, either directly or through the Organisation de Pêcheurs Normands, Granvilmer is a key economic player in the port of Granville. Granvilmer guarantees a short supply chain preserving the freshness of the products, deep-freezing preserving this freshness, an attractive price on local seafood to offer consumers high quality products. The Bréville-sur-Mer plant processes and freezes whelks, scallops, prawns, wild sea bream, bivalves, cuttlefish and scallops from the bay of Granville. In 2018, Granvilmer launched its online sales site.
