Call for Water4all projects - Water and the circular economy 2024

This transnational call for projects is being launched as part of the European Water4All partnership and supports research and innovation projects focusing on water and the circular economy.

Eligibility criteria

Types of eligible projects

Research and innovation proposals submitted under this call and its various modalities must address at least one of the following topics:

Theme 1: Improving water reuse in industry.
Theme 2: Urban water reuse.
Theme 3: Recovery and reuse of resources/products from wastewater treatment.
Theme 4: Economic, environmental and social implications of reusing water and wastewater treatment products.

Eligible applicants

The consortium must include

At least 3 eligible partners funded by funding agencies from 3 different countries
At least 2 partners from 2 EU Member States or countries associated under Horizon Europe
7 partners maximum
The scientific coordinator of the project may only participate in one proposal.

Budget

The planned budget for the call is approximately €26 million, which will be matched by the European Commission.

Submission timetable

Deadline for pre-proposals: 13 November 2024
Selection of pre-proposals: end of February 2025
Project submission: 29 April 2025
