GUSCIO

Guscio is a company based on the Côte d’Opale specializing in the valorization of shell waste. It notably transforms scallop and mussel shells from the seafood industry into an innovative mineral material, named “Marbre des Mers.”

Composed of 50% recycled shells, this material makes it possible to create furniture, surfaces, and design elements while giving a second life to a local resource. Through this approach, Guscio combines circular economy, innovation, local expertise, and design, while contributing to the reduction of waste generated by the fisheries sector.
