Call for FutureFoodS projects
FutureFoods is a partnership launched by the European Commission as part of Horizon Europe Module 6 to foster green and digital transitions. Its ambition is to collectively achieve environmentally friendly, socially safe and equitable, economically viable, healthy and safe food systems in Europe by 2050.
Eligibility criteria
Types of eligible projects
This call for projects is divided into three topics:
- Towards sustainable and resilient food systems
- Novel foods - Encouraging innovation in food design, processing and supply by shifting demand and supply
- Empowering people to make sustainable food choices - Promoting food environments and dietary change
Project duration: 24 to 36 months
Eligible applicants/partners
The call for projects is open to universities and universities of applied sciences, research institutes, non-profit-making legal entities, small and medium-sized enterprises, large enterprises and public bodies.
Project consortia must comprise at least three partners 1) from at least three Member States or associated countries participating in the call and 2) eligible to apply for funding from the agricultural organisations participating in this call and providing funding for the selected theme.
