L’Université du Littoral Côte d’Opale is a public multipolar university located in 4 cities (Boulogne-sur-Mer, Calais, Dunkerque and Saint-Omer). Its research activities are organized in 3 research poles (Environment, marine and littoral environments ; sciences, technologies and health, humanities and social sciences). The university also coordinates 14 laboratories.

ULCO’s mission is to work for the academic and professional success of its students. The proximity with the teaching teams, personalised support, quality teaching and innovative educational methods create a framework conducive to the acquisition of knowledge, dialogue and success for everyone. ULCO is developing a highly qualified educational programme based on its fields of excellence and its territory, while meeting the needs of socio-economic players. Today, ULCO welcomes more than 10,000 students each year, spread over its 4 training sites. ULCO has launched ENERULCO, a project that questions all university players, students, administrative staff and teachers about their energy consumption and their daily actions, so that everyone is committed to sustainable development. The project is organised in two parts: a technical dimension (energy efficiency) and a behavioural dimension (energy sobriety).
