France Pélagique, founded in 1988, is a French family business specialising in the fishing of open sea fish species (mackerel, herring, horse mackerel and blue whiting). A subsidiary of the Cornelis Vrolijk group, this fishing company manages two large vessels registered in Fécamp and Concarneau from its Paris headquarters. The company, driven by the passion of its fishermen, is the leader in pelagic fishing in France.

On land and at sea, France Pélagique employs around one hundred people, most of whom are French (mainly from Normandy and Brittany). Technological innovation is at the heart of our DNA, in order to meet the challenge of the sustainability of our resources and our businesses. The company is currently managed by Geoffroy Dhellemmes, representative of the fourth generation of shipowners in the family.
