NANOCULTURE : workshop on the overview and advances of the project

In mid-October 2020, the NANOCULTURE partners organized the first edition of the project Webinars. The event title was “Nanoparticles in aquaculture: is it something to worry about?” and gathered nearly 400 online participants from 13 different countries during 2 sessions (one in English & one in Spanish).

The participants were mainly from the academic community, but a range of professionals from several areas, including aquaculture companies as well as policy institutions, also attended the event. Prominent names among the invited speakers surely contributed to the success of this event, such as Dr. Catherine Butler from Ireland’s Seafood Development Agency (BIM) and Dr. Ángeles Vázquez from Conselleria del Mar – Xunta de Galicia (Galician Maritime Government). The video recordings of the different sessions of the event are now available at the NANOCULTURE project website  for those who missed it.
